Friendship House Toy Drive

November 28, 2016

Each year, Friendship House collects gifts from the community for children who might otherwise go without. Make the season brighter for a child and donate a new unwrapped toy for a boy or girl age infant to 9! Donations can be dropped off or mailed to 56 Julian Avenue, San Francisco, CA 94103. Our deadline to receive donations is Friday, December 16, 2016.

Indian Health Services Visits Friendship House SF

July 10, 2016

Each year, Indian Health Service visits its partners in health programs for an annual performance review. On Monday June 20th, 2016 IHS visited Friendship House in San Francisco for an annual assessment and concluded their report by saying, "As always, Friendship House is a model program.  We see Friendship House as a jewel in the IHS Network."
 
Friendship House is grateful for the ongoing support that IHS provides in supporting the vital treatment, recovery services and programs that we provide to Native American and Alaska Native youth, individuals and communities. 

Martin Waukazoo, CEO Native American Health Center Receives Award

Friendship House Association of American Indians, Inc. wishes to warmly congratulate Mr. Martin Waukazoo, Chief Executive Officer of Native American Health Centers on his recent Award presented at the San Francisco Community Clinic Consortium Gala. The award honored Mr. Waukazoo's lifetime of accomplishments in the health field for the American Indian population.
